The Farm on Mad River on Mad River hosts stylish weddings, receptions and other special events in a location guests will remember for a lifetime. Family events, reunions with friends, ski groups, corporate retreats and seminars are held in a setting of lush gardens, well-manicured lawns and terraced, fieldstone walls — and, of course, the Mad River.
The Farm on Mad River Bed & Breakfast Inn hosts functions ranging from large events to small groups and is one of the few sites in the Mad River Valley that can accommodate very large outdoor parties.
Our restaurant-quality kitchen allows for the creation of delectable breakfasts and dinners for our guests, or gourmet catering for hundreds. Situated on 42 acres in Waitsfield, Vermont, with spectacular views of the river, mountains, meadows and waterfalls from every vantage point, the nineteenth century farmhouse features country lodging accommodations to complement our special outdoor settings.
Our grounds feature many special settings for both the enjoyment of our guests and for outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions. Parking for these events is available on-site as are other on-site services such as catering, bartending services, and event coordination.
And while many inns insist their clients use its in-house catering services, The Farm on Mad River does not. You are welcome to select a caterer of your own choosing, and we are accustomed to working with all kinds of outside vendors and suppliers. (Kitchen/usage fees may apply when outside caterers use The Farm on Mad River's kitchen facilities.)
The Farm on Mad River's facilities fees are assessed based on a number of factors, starting with the size of the party involved, and begin at $3,000 FOR A PARTY OF 75-100 GUESTS.
THE FARM IS AN OUTDOOR WEDDING SITE, AND WE CAN SUPPLY RECOMMENDED TENT/EQUIPMENT VENDORS FOR YOUR EVENT UPON REQUEST
