William Johnson has headed The Farm on Mad River’s catering and event coordination services since 1999. During that time, Bill and his staff have prepared and served wedding reception banquets and buffets and rehearsal dinners for groups large and small at The Farm on Mad River Additionally,Bill spent 10 years as Chef/Manager of SkiClub 10 at Sugarbush, an exclusive, private ski club which is the oldest club in the area. Along with his culinary abilities,Bill brings years of experience with him in publishing, marketing, and in trade show and special-event planning.


The Farm Mad River now specializes in catering for wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners for groups of 75 guests and under. The Farm focuses on freshly-prepared, sumptuous buffetsoften times tailored to our clients’ preferences- vegetarian and gluten-free dishes available as well as carnivoran and pescatorian! Although a sample menu is offered,Bill prefers to create a menu around each client so that each guest departs the event completely delighted with our foods. A fine baker, be certain to look over the sample menu’s dessert offerings Bill has listed because they are offered on a take-out/a la carte basis to customers even if they are not doing an event at The Farm.
